Do good, look good, feel good

Hey you!

For a long time, I’ve wanted to get involved in charity work. Though my action plan isย vague, my desire has kindled within me for a while. My grandmother did charity work all her life. Listening to her stories about the people she worked with and how they touched her heart, left an imprint on my sense of purpose.

Last week I found out that Dean Gera Salons were hosting an event on behalf of Do Project, called “Hair-Do”. I had never heard of Do Project before so I was curious to know who they were trying to raise funds for. I spoke to Nicole Gera, a co-owner and manager of the chain’s salon in Tal-Ibragg. She told me that the charity was working towards getting children off the streets in Cambodia.

Anyone who knows me, knows that my heart breaks whenever I hear about a child suffering. So I decided to get involved. I vlogged the event so that you and I could learn more about these children.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone at Hair-Do. The sense of wanting to give back was palpable.

I hope you enjoyed my vlog. Please leave a comment below if you have any thoughts on the project.

Wishing you a purposeful day!

With love,

Hi! I'm Emma. Iโ€™m a psychotherapist who lives, breathes and eats the science of joyfulness, wellness and achievement. All the work I do is fuelled by my deep wish to belong to a world where people actively choose their lives! A person without choice is an unhappy individual. A person who passionately and resiliently lives their purpose experiences joy and fulfilment daily. If youโ€™re like me and you see that the more people are consciously engaging in life, the happier our world will be, then we need you to be a beacon of this message by living it! My blog is one of my ways of creating dialogue with you, so that together, we can have a greater impact on our world. x

How do you feel? x
