This week’s video is a day-in-the-life kind of vlog, where after spending some fun time with my family I have a fibro flare-up and get into a bit of a funk. We chat about fibromyalgia, resiliency and what they mean to me, and why we’re not meant to be happy all the timebecause each emotion serves a vital purpose.
Imagine two people who are generally bored in their lives. They go to work, watch tv, go to sleep and do the same thing the next day. They cope with life but they don’t actually enjoy it so much. When you ask these people how they are, they reply with something like, “Not bad” or “Insomma”. Now picture these two people having sex.
Did you know that 98% of New Year’s Resolutions fail? Yes, you read that right: 98%!
Resolutions fail because people feel they “should” make a change, but aren’t passionate about why they want to make it! Before you can make any kind of change – a healthier body, starting your own business, re-igniting the passion in your relationship – you need to connect with what drives you to make this change and you need to break-through the beliefs that hold you back.
Instead of hoping you’ll stick to your resolutions, design your 2019 at “New Year Evolution”. This workshop will guide you to clearly define your outcomes for 2019, you’ll reconnect with the purpose that drives you, you’ll acknowledge the fear that stands in the way of you taking action, and you’ll leave with a strategy to make your dreams a reality.
You’re going to realise that your goals aren’t only achievable but are also maintainable, long-term!
Accept nothing less than a life filled with joy and excitement! Step into the New Year knowing exactly where you’re going and set yourself up for success by taking some time to prepare.
It’s just 3 words in a frame in my living room, but every time I look at it, it reminds me to shift my perspective. Remember that the way you look at a situation has a lot of impact on the way you feel about it and deal with it. Gratitude can be found in the worst situations. You just have to want to find it.
